Last Thursday, a guy in British Columbia illegally base jumped from a moving GONDOLA while it was 1,500 feet in the air.  And police tried to arrest him when he landed . . . but he got away.  Now there's helmet footage of it on YouTube.

In the video, there's a woman in the gondola who claims she didn't know him, and that she was just there sightseeing.  But she apparently helped him force the doors open, which caused $10,000 in damage.

(Search for "McConkey Reborn."  He climbs onto the outside of it at 1:59 and jumps at 2:41.  It's called "McConkey Reborn" because he was doing it in tribute to a guy named Shane McConkey, who died base jumping in 2009.)
