Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey is synonymous with the catchphrase "alright, alright, alright." It’s legendary. But where did the inspiration come from? Reddit recently uncovered a 2011 interview from “George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight” where McConaughey discusses how he tapped into his Wooderson character for 1993's "Dazed and Confused” -- and came up with the phrase. It's a nod to Doors’ frontman Jim Morrison. You don’t have to believe his story...but it would be a lot cooler if you did.
