Study Shows Dental Floss Could Lead To Exposure To Toxic Chemical

A new study says flossing with Oral-B Glide dental floss could lead to higher levels of toxic chemicals in the body.  The research found that women who used the floss had higher levels of PFAS chemicals in their bodies than women who didn't use the floss.  PFAS chemicals are used for their resistance to water and grease.  Health problems like cancer, ulcerative colitis and thyroid disease in children have been attributed to exposure from the chemicals.
