Jason Aldean said he’s “incredibly honored” to be named Country Radio Broadcasters 2022 Artist Humanitarian Award recipient. The “Trouble With A Heartbreak” singer earned the accolade by giving to plenty of organizations throughout his career, including Red Cross, ACM Lifting Lives and others.

“Jason Aldean doesn’t have to brag about his songs or his concert tours. They speak for themselves,” Country Radio Seminar/Country Radio Broadcasters Board President Kurt Johnson said in a statement. “He also doesn’t call attention to his massive philanthropic work. So we will. Join us at CRS as we shine a light on all the good that Jason does and the good people he supports.”

Aldean raised more than $2 million for Artium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children’s Hospital, the only dedicated pediatric facility in the region that includes the country artist’s hometown of Macon, Georgia. Over a decade, he’s raised more than $4.1 million for Susan G. Komen chapters via ticket sales and events, reads a news release shared this week.

The Country Radio Seminar Honors is set for Wednesday, February 23 at 2 p.m. CT. Alden will receive his award during the CRS Honors, and will announce the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2022 inductees.

Officials opted to move forward with hosting CRS 2022 as a live, in-person event at the Omni Nashville Hotel after “careful and thorough consultation with attendees, panelists, performers, sponsorship partners, vendors, event staff, and CRB leadership,” according to a CRS press release. Attendees will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result within 48 hours of the seminar. Rapid antigen and PCR tests will also be available on site at no cost.
