Queens of the Stone Age plan to hit the road next year to make up some of the US dates they were forced to reschedule due to Josh Homme's health. The band has not disclosed the frontman's health concerns but last month canceled the remainder of their 2024 tour dates so he could "receive essential medical care throughout the remainder of the year."
"Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care throughout the remainder of the year," the statement reads. "Josh and the QOTSA family are so thankful for your support and the time we were able to spend together over the last year. Hope to see you all again in 2025.”
That decision came after Homme had to undergo "emergency surgery," in the United States, forcing the band to cancel European tour dates and festival appearances over the summer.
Thankfully, QOTSA have announced five rescheduled tour dates in 2025, hitting some US cities they were unable to play this year (any festival dates were canceled). See the list of rescheduled tour dates below.
