Scientists Say Going To Music Festivals Can Make You A Better Person

Need an excuse to book that Lollapalooza ticket? Tell them it's for science!

A new study out of Yale University says attending music festivals can make you a better person.

It found that nearly two-thirds of people who attended festivals felt "radically changed" by the experience, with a greater understanding and willingness to help others - an effect that can last up to six months.

Researchers believe music festivals offer a similar sense of community to religious celebrations, pilgrimages, or other ceremonies.
