Discovery Channel has signed on to tackle one of life’s biggest questions: Where do we go when we die? A four-part special of their series “Expedition Unknown” that’s recently been given the green light will try to figure it out.
“Expedition Unknown: Search For The Afterlife” will follow host and executive producer Josh Gates as he travels the world in pursuit of scientific evidence of the afterlife. He will start in Hierapolis, Turkey, to explore a recently discovered cave. According to legends of ancient Rome, it’s the portal to the underworld.
